Frank was almost signed on as a mentor for my team's resident thug Lastings Milledge. Guess that didn't pan out. The Nattys should be ashamed of the way they treated FR after last year. They deserve the pounding they're going to get this year despite Acta, our old 3rd base coach, taking over.

OC couldnt agree more. You can count on one hand what he did as a player and then being the first boack manager, his work in the commissioners office to doing MLB a favor in his 70s and managing the nationals who he did quite well for a rudderless team.

I have a close friend who is a Hockey coach....Pat Quinn...WOn the worlds as coach of team canada olympic gold and his phone is ice cold now. Fine man.

Frank....a player/manager for the Orange and Black!! What an under rated player too......he has only started to get his proper due over the last 5 or 6 years...since steroid era players have started to pass him on the HR list. People are now realizing what a great-great hitter he was. He would still look great batting #4 on our EB softball team :)

So it's safe to say my rhetoric about how we're going to re-own the NL East is safe up in these parts! :D

Jimmy "I ain't won jack" Rollins and Brett "Beat your wife" Meyers commentary notwithstanding of course...the Phillies are TOAST.

Hey BP,

It really is a small world. As you probably already know, Pat coached and managed up here in Toronto for quite a few years. How do you know him. If you don't mind me asking.
