That was quite the yarn there Jack. I dig the bibilical thing.

You know, now that I think of it, you're really not a bad writer. If this bass playing/adult film carreer doesn't work out, you could probably find work as a linguist or something, or maybe just a disgruntled foreign national militia-man.

Ladies and Gentleman, Jack was correct, Dargin knows best. Big Poppa was also correct, he was the one who showed me the light regarding the H.

I still prefer the HH Bongo, but I use that single humbucker when I want to play something Rock and Roll. I just figured since you call yourself Lord Bongo you should at least try one of each model. BTW, I am not telling you guys what color my single H is.

Big Poppa always know best when it comes to the music industry, but cover your ears if he ever tries to give you advice on picking football games. He fully accepts that Darg knows best in that arena.

Dargin has a blue dawn single h bongo without a pickguard.

He is not very good at football...he won the espn fantasy two years ago and then finished in the basement this past year.

Go easy on him he is sensitive

Aha! Someone, and I won't use his real name although his initials are Scott Ball, is going to hear about THAT from the blue dawn contingent! I always liked that finish, but haven't sold my soul to the Dark Prince (that's FieLdy, I believe) in order to try to buy all the blue dawn basses in the universe.

Well, really, I kind of figured the same thing. Although now, the origins of the term "Lord Bongo" are lost in the mists (and I believe it may well be a vodka mist). Was it Andy handing out titles? Did I claim to be Lord Bongo or did someone lay that one on me? I can see myself, late at night, sipping some gargantuan martini, typing out "Fear me! For I am Lord Bongo!"

I can see that. Not sure if it happened, but I wouldn't deny it if someone said they saw it.

In any case, Lord Bongo shall be debuting the single hummer tonight at rehearsal. I will try to talk someone into taking photos, although normal humans generally try to stay a safe distance from our rehearsals.
