I've got to study Mr. LaRue more closely (i.e., get one of his cd's and leave it in the car cd player for a few weeks straight). I always enjoy hearing him. Screw the Korg demo - how 'bout the "how many amazing tones can you get out of a Bongo" demo he gives in this clip. Nice post.

While the playing was top notch, this had to be one of the worst product ads I have ever seen. I have watched it twice now, and still have no idea what he is trying to sell, or what the capabilites of the unit are.

It's a pretty good ad for the Bongo though.

I saw him doing a clinic (EBMM i think) with Steve Morse like in late 96, he was using his Sterling back then and i was instantly in love with sound he was getting.

He's a badass for sure.
