Anyone know how many Bongo LTD 2007s there are in the world?
I just ordered mine from Florida ( HS )
i'll probably get it in a week because I live in Europe but I can't wait and keep checking up on UPS to see where it is.
(and second question: what's the point of piezo on a bass? I know John Petrucci has one on his guitar which he uses for acoustic sounds but unless your using effects or fuzz pedals then isn't a bass already an "acoustic" clean sound?)

Generally, production numbers aren't released...

One of my babies is a LE Blue Dawn Bongo 4HHP. Piezos just let you dial in some other sound variations.

Steve's is actually not the only dealer in the Montreal area. Italmelodie also carries Music Man. They had a nice Blue Pearl HH Bongo 5-string and Black HH Bongo 6-string the last time I was there.
There is also a dealer in St-Hyacinthe (Centre de Musique Victor).
Yes, Blue Dawn is discontinued and it may be a bass they'll be transferring from one of their other stores (Ottawa or Toronto). A premium on the price? I think they'd be more inclined to mark it down a little seeing as it has been sitting on the shelf for 3 - 4 years, however that price seems to be in line with what I have seen so I do not think it has been inflated.
