Wouldn't it make sense to list the ones that are currently one offs to increase the number of them production wise???
Then just not let anyone order anything that's not on the original list as to create new one offs?
Just asking. :)
I think the idea is that if someone is currently all excited about getting a one off, BP didn't want to yank the smile off their face. At least, that's how I took it.

A very generous and EXTREMELY tempting offer BP! This could be called the Ernie Ball 76th Anniversary Bass!

I thought that, but was wondering if that was the reason.

Yes, Foggy, it would make more sense to make more of the current one-offs -- for us at the factory. However, as Poppa pointed out, it would ruin the joy of those who did order the combinations that happen to be one-offs and their ability to brag that theirs is the only one like it in the WORLD. This, again, was another generous and kind gesture on Poppa's behalf, one that isn't exactly a choice that would make more sense for the factory, but rather for the customer.

Never a dull moment working for that Sterling Ball, nope, I declare that I do not recall any dull moments...

oh and back to the "never a dull moment" things.. while we're at it, can we make the Sterling 14.5 anniversary model a "Sterling 14.517368 anniversary" model? That would make it so much funner to sell. ;) :D :D :D

Can I change up my previous order? I didn't order what I wanted, just got what dude ordered an extra of.

Ping Jack Darrin and order what you want and I'll put your original order into inventory...no sweat.

Very cool of you, BP.

Hopefully, more people will join me and Pete in the single H Bongo 5 club. I'm not worried about collectability. Hell, that only matters if you plan to sell it, and mine isn't going anywhere. :D

And EB should also release a Bongo 3.14159265 Anniv. model. Because everyone likes pie. :D

Hey big poppa

Does that list of yours consider fretless in the mix. I bought a nice blue burst from my local store but really wanted the dargie.

Did anyone order a sterling in Fretless with piezo?

Thanks

I am betting no more than 3 at the most. Having one of four makes ya special. You want one?

This is a great gesture by a really cool company. Let's get those DD numbers up, people! Green isn't my color, but I already blew my new bass budget for the year on the 30th Ann SR4. If we buy enough, though, maybe in a few years they'll revive another color that doesn't sell. I know what I want, and I can wait.... ;)
