Thanks everybody...Look its fun fixing problems expecially when cotrary to popular belief Guitar Center does care....I also love hooking people up with special pieces and this one is fantastic

I read stories like this and it makes me think..
You need to kick your Australian distributor in the hole.. hopeless.. the prices are outrageous (street price for a basic plain colour Ray is $2400), the selection awful. Last year I tried getting a rosewood boarded Stingray.. none in the country, none in the upcoming order, 'but we can order you one', please, since when is a rosewood board a special order :rolleyes:

Myself and a few other guys I know have had to resort to getting people in the US to order them for us and sending them over... actually I'm not sure I know anyone with a Stingray who HAS bought it locally!

My Sterling 4H was sounding a bit dead at the last gig so I just put on some new DR Low-Rider strings. The thing has totally come alive, it is now a total funk machine. Can't wait till our next gig on Sat night.
