Do whatcha gotta do, you'll make a good decision no matter which you choose :p

I'm coming, Pete. The exam truns out to be a take-home (which sucks in exponential number of ways) and I will have a week to do it. So a trip to your store would be a nice break for me, and will increase my chances of passing the class!

Glenn, right now it looks like it will be kicking off at 12:00 sharp @ DuBaldo's... I will make an announcement either this weekend or at the latest on Monday - both here and in the "Events" section, as well on my soon to be updated website. I've got a ton of stuff going on right now that has to get finished this week, and I'm trying to clear off the top of the list so that way this gets my full attention. :)

I also need people to email or PM me if they are coming, so I know how much food to prepare. :D Right now it looks as though there are 7 confirmed and 4 possibles, which is right about my guestimation of 12 people. Worst case, NorM doesn't get a goody-bag

Horse, glad you are gonna make it!

Done and done!

All booked Pete. Flying in Sat night, staying at the Courtyard Mariott, flying out Sunday eve.

Gonna party like a rock star on sat. (Probably won't play like one on sun.)

Kickoff/assembly is at 12:00 noon on Sunday the 18th @ DuBaldo Music Center
12:45-1:00 leave for Beller's Music (Store #2)
1:00-1:15 arrive at Beller's, remain there for the rest of the afternoon.

YOU MUST PM OR EMAIL ME WITH YOUR NAME IF YOU WILL BE ATTENDING, SPACE IS LIMITED! The stores are not gigantic by any means, and I need to know ahead of time who is showing up.
We are normally closed on Sundays, this is a special event. :D

Hi Guys,

I was up in the air about going, but don't think I will. There are alot of little reasons keeping me from making the 5 hr drive. Although, who knows. If 8am rolls around and I impulsively jump in the van I may show up. I bet it's going to be a blast.

Hope everything goes ok with the Dubaldo EBMM extravaganza - it should turn into an annual event lol!

We'll see! I'd like to host an Artist clinic here in the Spring/Summer, but I don't know any tour dates yet.

Monday? I'm just waiting for someone else to start the pictures off :) Oh yeah, I have half an hour of video that Nick was kind enough to shoot. It's already transferred onto the computer, I'm editing it down some right now.

For now, all I will say is that I had a blast, and would do it again in a heartbeat :D

Ooops! I forgot to thank Pete's Mom and Dad! They are wonderful people who treated us like family. Mrs. Dubaaldo made some unbelievabley good lasagna along with some hot cider and a cool salad.

Thanks Mr. and Mrs. D!

Figgers that the lasanga were covered in that pic - blame Nick, he had the camera for that shot! Yeah that's some of the infamous home-made DuBaldo wine that when poured onto regular paint it makes it sparkle.

Oh, and Janice made some stellar brownies, too!

Thanks to everyone who came out and made it a great time!
fogman, DaveB, and phatdukk, thanks for all the phone calls to check in on us!

I'd like to extend my thanks to Pete and his entire family for giving us a tour of their stores and hosting this event. Wonderful food, fine instruments, and good people made for a great way to spend the day.

I'd also like to mention that Pete's store manager and their drum instructor took time out of their day to provide us with a rhythm section and allow for a fun jam session. I picked up some excellent tips just watching and listening to Ernie, Tommy, Beej and Pete. Made me want to practice just a wee bit more when I got home too.

Additional thanks to Tommy for the set up lesson and tweeks to my AL. Plays beautifully now and hopefully I'll put the lesson to good use and not worry too much about doing more of my own adjustments.

I'm looking forward to the next DuBaldo fest :)
