I know exactly what you are saying. I am going on owning an EBMM for two months. My strat, tele, Les Paul are all up for sale. They do not feel right anymore. Once you discover EBMM everything changes.

Other guitars no longer make sense.

true man, i had an ESP Eclipse II for like months and it was great and all, but i sold it to get me lefty BD Luke. No one an top them. I am now musicman exclusive from this day forward.

this could be imminent on me cuz i just ordered a jp6 fully loaded.. im almost scared about this, my j.custom was always a great guitar, the only thing i thats missing is the piezo option, and i also own a 7string ibanez guitar. so if my fate is as yours, i'll have to sell all that great stuff too and get a jp7 in the future

I just A/B'd my Axis with an Ibanez Xiphos yesterday. I can honestly say I'm being completely objective about this, but the difference was night and day. My Axis kicked it's ass. This is not to say that with some set up work that the Ibanez might not play very well, but it didn't come anywhere near feeling as good as the Axis.

I mainly played it to check out the D-activator pickups. They were o.k., but couldn't keep up with the ones in my Axis.

I can never get rid of my Les Paul - too much history, too many battle scars.
The thing is I never play it anymore.

Bought new in Orange, London in the 70's.

I'll never sell my AL's either.
