I would say he was just letting me talk haha. I didn't ask him any questions. I just started telling him how many of his guitars I have and why I like the 13 better than the Maj. He then said something about how the 15 is going back to the 13's stylings. I don't want to put words in his mouth, so I won't, especially since my whole experience was colored with ZOMG I'M MEETING JOHN MUTHA_______ PETRUCCI!!!! - pretty hard to remember all the details :)

Both look awesome, specialy the Nero, as for the majesty. But I'm not that into gold hardware.

Any words of the price for the jp15 ans the Majesty artisan ?

MajesticVoyage you lucky dog! Getting to meet the man himself. I would have loved to meet him at NAMM, but we were on too tight a schedule. Didn't have time for any meet and greets.

Pricing is as follows:
JP15 6 Flame - $2800
JP15 6 Quilt - $2975
JP15 7 Flame - $2940
JP15 7 Quilt - $3115

Majesty Artisan 6 - 2800
Majesty Artisan 7 - 2940

Pocket change right?

The Majesty plays fantastic. Innovative and unique. I just can't get on with neck-thru's and finished necks.
I have played plenty of JP's with the colored finish on the back of the neck, and as slick as they are, I come back to all rosewood and the original.
Now that the roasted maple has been out and I have two pdn 7's with it, I have even more options when guitars are offered with it.
JP 15 for me.

I will also be curious to a/b the 13 and 15. Basswood vs. Mahog. I am thinking the 13 will have more bite and the 15 more girth.

Well, when the JP15 went missing at NAMM, the scuttlebut was that a $3k guitar was stolen; not to say that this is for sure that much, but with roasted neck/fretboard and roasted flame/quilt top, I can't imagine it'll be any less than $3k.

I would definitely go for the JP15, the moment I saw it I knew I should start saving $$. It's so classy and beautiful, and that roasted maple neck looks awsome. I don't like the shape of the Majesty but clearly is also an amazing guitar.
