in a clinic he said he only uses three presets - one for each channel.
my guess is for the clean channel he uses no additional options, and the high gain switch for channel 2 and 3. dunno about the mid range switches on 3 though. i personally like the higher ones better (the ones with the blue lights). i'll have to take a close look next time deep purple are in germany
