Evening folks,

Just to update you....

Doug Chandler and his wife Tina now operate a distribution firm in the UK called Guitar XS who import Collings and Groove Tube products. They are still wonderful people to deal with.

Its nice to see people praising my store - and I thank you. When I was a punter I always found Denmark St very overrated and intimidating. At Machinehead we always regard customer satisfaction as the ultimate aim - you may find other stores charging a few quid less but we will always look after you if you need an action tweak or want to change string guage etc.

Cheers

Dave

well you obviously like musicman and well made guitars and that shows in the quality, set up, after sales care and range..

i don't have many shops bookmarked in my browswe but yours i do both for your secondhand stock as well as your new stock.. i am still kicking myself i didn't go for that steve morse you had in for ages!! the problem is also that denmark street turns its nose up at second hand musicman.. unless its got gibson, prs or fender on the headstock..ergo making it easy for them to sell..

Any time i have been to the great and holy D Street, ive been met with some clown that knows absolutely jack shizzle about anything. It's a mickey mouse tourist hotspot with a bunch of old crooners that think "sentimental" value has.....well.....value.
Your staff are idiots that dont care unless they can rip you for a grand or more for a epi sheraton that "Noel wiped his dick on during a bomb scare in 95"
How about you sort it out, sell guitars that you didnt buy on ebay, and maybe, just maybe, stop living in the past and come to terms with the fact that you are all over the hill, past your sell by date, and slowly being replaced with a bunch of twats that do not care. Denmark street is a f***ng joke. I pissed there once. i still have the rash....but my '83 Matsumoku Epi Sheraton cost £500. Not £4000. make what you want out of that.
