I'll be performing with guitarist Carl Verheyen and drummer Bernie Dressel this Friday July 27 in Denver at the Soiled Dove and Sunday the 29th in Aspen at the Belly Up. Would love to see some Knuckleheads present.

I saw these guys last night and what a show! Dave, Carl and Bernie were some of the most talented, versatile and wicked players I've ever seen. Dave has a fantastic blend of tasty chops, blazing speed and dynamic touch. Of course, a 5 string Bongo HH helps it all sound brilliant. Dave has a great style using his thumb and fingers of his right hand to really draw some rich tones out of his rig. Carl is a guitarist's guitarist, what can you say. I'm not sure what he eats for breakfast, but I gotta get me some. And Bernie had such dynamics that it made a 3 piece sound like there was a crowd of musicians on stage.
On top of all that, they were just nice guys to talk with after the show.
Take a plane, ride a bus, swim the ocean, do what you've got to do, but go see these guys.

I wanted to go too but wasn't able too. Sterling was just too far of a drive and I had a long day at work yesterday.

Kevin, thanks for the kind words. I am privileged to play with such amazing musicians and to be playing what I consider to be the best basses available.
