Does anyone have some Desert Gold pics of either Pets or AL's that they can post here? I'm seriously contemplating ordering either a Pet or an AL in DG.

I'm seriously thinking of one.....with white pearl or white pickguard. An AL with bling. What pickups do you prefer on the AL? Natty or matching headstock?

I dont mind either SSS or MM90's, they both rock on the AL. I prefer natty on the AL, but it depends on the colour, DG i would go natty. I'd also go moonstone guard.

+1 from me for the natural headstock, especially with a bold color like Desert Gold.
Moonstone would be good.

I think that would be over the top with the colour combo.

Another plus for a natural headstock is that if you dent it or scratch it, which is easier to do than most people think, the dent or scratch won't show as much as with a painted headstock.
Most Sub 1 owners know this....

Yes and no. I loved the color, and the feel. But I didn't need 24 frets or a piezo. It was a good one though.
