The bass player in Annie Lennox's band had a white SR5 with matching headstock and white pearloid pickguard which looked pretty sweet. Not that I typically notice such details :)

Apparently that was Paul Turner...

Here's what EB said about it (spot the typos)

Music Man Endorsed Artist Paul Turner Performs with Annie Lennox at Live 8 on July 2

SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (June 30, 2005) - Ernie Ball endorsed UK artist Paul Turner will perform at the Live 8 benefit concert in London this Saturday, July 2, accompanying Annie Lenox. They will take the stage at 4:30 p.m. GMT.

A series of free Live 8 concerts include July 2 shows in London, Philadelphia, Paris, Rome, Berlin, Johannesburg, Tokyo and Toronto. The concerts are designed to put pressure on the G8 industrialized nations to do more to ease poverty, placing the spotlight on the issue just before leaders of the world's richest nations meet in Scotland July 6 to 8. The London concert, taking place at Hyde Park, will also include Coldplay, Madonna, U2 and Paul McCartney.

To be broadcast to approximately 5.5 billion viewers, the concerts will be the largest global TV broadcast in history, organizers said. Broadcast in more than 140 countries on TV, radio, online or through mobile phones, some 85 percent of the world's population will be able to tune into the concert. Turner, an Ernie Ball Music Man endorsed artist for the last five years, plays both the Music Man Bongo and String Ray 5, and helped in the development of the Music Man Bongo. On Sunday, July 3, Turner will be playing at the Clapham Common B Live festival with headlining band Jamiroquai.

Yes, my friends, that was Paul Turner, one of our UK endorsers. He plays with Annie Lennox and Jamiroquai and even had some input on the development of the Bongo. Great bloke...

Thank you, Paul!!
