I would guess it was available, but I haven't seen any.
The Axis really is a modern instrument IMO. And the BC colour is kinda vintage.

No, the Axis was not one of the models offered with the LE Buttercream finish. The Benji Madden sig. didn't get the Buttercream treatment either. There were a couple others, but I forget what they were...

Yeah buttercream with black binding would be nice.....imagine the Peavey Wolfgang only nicer...!

I wonder why the don't do that kind of thing for the Axis. My first thought would be why would you put a solid finish on the nice top, then I think of this years LE, and it is available on the Axis as solid black, when a trans black w/ gold hardware would've been sooooo nice.

In any case... the buttercream w/ black binding would've been a very sweet looking guitar.
