I could never get past the color, to tell you the truth. The thing is a scalded ape and everything anyone in their right mind would need in a bass.

Poppa is right, there will be another Bongo 4H in my future, but I only have room for so many in my studio, and I cannot keep many around the living spaces and still keep the limitedly patient Mrs. Burst happy. She is still slightly shell-socked from the P-Bass purchase.

Well, a '54 PBass is some shell...Pretty cool. I was just drooling over a '54 in the John Entwistle Bass Collection book. Since you already own the end of bass evolution with your Bongos, you might as well own the beginning, too.

BUT, as bad as Ive missed that Single H Bongo I sold, Id have to be nuts or be going after a sparkle to off this one. I mean a GOOD sparkle too.
