I didn't and it hurts me that I didn't. I love that muscle car green with the black and it is special to us forumites and I have shaken the hand of Dargie himself. It would have felt so personal.

Nope.

Oh well. I have a Sunn 1200s on the way, so that consoles me somewhat, as does the fact that I got it for $400.

So it's cool.

Hope you guys' are nice.

I really wanted a Fully Loaded JP in DD but right now I'm paying off other gear. Bad timing for me...

My brother ordered a Bongo though... :)

Broke. With the current gas prices and a 72 mile a day from home to work/work to home and a newborn being on the way, they'll be no new basses for me any time soon.:(

I didn't. Since I'm self employed my income stream varies and the fact that I recently got a Bongo4HH, a 30th Anniv SR, and another bass that is also a decendant of Leo, I figured I'd better pay the mortgage this month (oh, and the kids want to eat . . . everyday).

But I've been looking at that Honeyburst SR4HH that James keeps posting pics of and I think that's what I'd like next. Either that or a Honeyburst Sterling 4HH. Or maybe either in tobacco burst. Damn decisions.

No fair, I got railroaded into...

My first Bongo. It's a 4HP. I am sure that this configuration will be pretty scarce.

In that finish? I'd say you're right.

Nope, I am holding out for a Honeyburst Sterling 5! I may have some GAS money by Jan?

You got a long wait ahead of you for that one, Scott!

i definately am a fan of buying gear (aka im a gear whore) but im not into having the exact same bass with a different finish. (tho i do have 2 single H Sterlings - but i got the BC on a trade). so, i woulda been in for some version of the sterling if i didnt already have one of each pup combo
