i would be interested by the axis in honey burst in the for sale thread

i want to find an axis urgently

but
these color isn't easy to capture and i've see a lot of pics of honey burst some seems red and other more brown

is there a difference beetwem honey burst and caramel burst (silo 20TH) this color apears also red on pics but in real its more brown i've one in real

i don't like red but this guitar is ansome

I would say that caramel burst is darker than honey burst. Check out my photo albums with the 20th Silo...honey burst does not have much red either. Its just the way it comes out in pictures.

Honeyburst is definitely brown as a matter of fact mine is called "brownie" :D

They are pretty close. The Honeyburst seems to be more of a classic burst color, that is the edges are darker and get lighter towards the middle. The 20th is bit more homogeneous.

best way is to ask Aziah to check with the serial number but definitely honeyburst is brownish more than redish

It could be the lighting or the way the camera takes the picture.

I have never seen either color in person but I totally understand where ily is coming from. I have seen quite a few photos of Honey Burst finishes that look like the surface of the sun, and then other shots where the finish looks totally different.
