I had a friend ask me why the G string tuning peg is in a different location between the 2 basses. I never had realized that before. So I am asking you customer service guys.

I believe the sterling basses have a smaller headstock, so there wasn't enough room to keep it in he same location that it is on the Stingray.

Different neck and headstock so different alignment of the tuners so the strings come straight off the nut.

I have heard on here that the necks are the same, thought the pegheads would be too. Maybe someone from the company could chime in.
