I've been to many dealers and have yet to see an Albert Lee or Luke!
You may have to order one.![]()
Pundix said:I think that's pretty much a telling statement on the state of music stores these days. Before I moved to Cleveland I lived in a relatively small town and could always find whatever I wanted there. Even EBMM's. I stopped playing for about 5 years when I moved here and when I started again and thus started visiting music stores I thought this town was pathetic. Going home again showed me that it wasn't Cleveland. Stores there have gotten pathetic as well.
Economy? What gives?![]()
PeteDuBaldo said:Idunno what's up with other stores, but right now I have 18 Music Man guitars & basses in stock, along with an additional 8 S.U.B. guitars and basses.
If you do the math, thats a LOT of money for a small, non-corporate business to have just sitting around tied up on a shelf, or in a back room somewhere.
I have 1 Luke here, the Morse sold last month, and I have yet to stock an Albert Lee. Silhouettes, Axis, JPs, and StingRays make up most of the inventory here.

Hookpunch said:Pete - any idea why you are having trouble moving them? I know a lot of first time buyers only go with Fender or Gibson because they know the name, or Ibanez because they see their hero playing one.
