Well its me again...I guess I've been posting non-EBMM related issues in the guitar forum and I apologize...so I thought I'd post this here...man I'm always learning something here!
Anyhoo back to the Digitech GNX4, I'm thinking of picking this baby up, well lets put it this way, I've been dreaming of something like this since starting on guitar years ago (many, many years ago)...so I really want it, can someone give me more info on it, their likes and dislikes, ease of use...thanks!

I can't comment on the GNX4 but I have a GNX3 which is basically the same unit aside from the USB support, Customizable Drum Machine, & Compact Flash Memory support.

I find the sounds to be very usable for practicing or home recording. They are as close as the Line 6 POD sounds. The effects sound great too although they have a Digitech style sound to them. I really like the Dual Rectifier settings on the GNX3 & the ability to "warp" or combine 2 different amp sounds to make your own custom sound.

The recorder is extremely easy to use. Customizing effects & making your own sounds involves flipping through menus & turning knobs. The GenEdit software they give you makes it easy though.

There are a ton of user patches on Digitech's sound community. Feel free to email or PM me if you have any specific questions. [email protected]

Does anyone here know how to pull up the "TALK" effect on the GNX4? One of the reasons I bought the GNX4 was it's ability to use the microphone to make the guitar "TALK" but I can't seem to be able to figure out how to pull that up?
Thanks,
guitarjo
