I've been going through alot or rig testing since getting my Petrucci (instantly vaulted to my #1). The GNX 4 has a great system for a piezo guitar because it has a line in AND a mic in w/ a nice DBX preamp. the JP sounds extremely nice with this system into a powered EV wedge (SXA100 or SXA250). I would encourage y'all to think seriously about this lethal combination. AND you can walk into the gig in 1 trip. Powered spkr in one hand and guitar in other w/GNX4 gigbag on your shoulder. the GNX4 is powered by www.mfxsupermodel.com patches and friggin' RIPS.

That's just way cool. My amp now is the Johnson Millennium. The effects processor for that is Digitech's. I was thinking about what I would do when that amp dies. I thought that a floor mounted processor and a powered speaker would be the way to go. So do you run seperate effects loops for the mags and the piezos at the same time?

Also I tried the new Bose PA and I love that.

The routing allows you to feed the Piezo in 1) Dry 2) JUST into the reverb/delay or 3) parallel with the guitar (into the models). I usually run it into the reverb/delay input.

AND there are 2 sets of outputs so you can actually seperate the 2 tones
