I feel like an 8 year-old with a squadron of navy fighters. :D

I'm too damn n00b to have this much good hardware!!! I should thin the herd but I like them all!

I thought I'd buy a few used, then settle on one and sell the rest. What a foolish plan... :)

*sigh*

Not sure what you're on about here, but if it's about how much good quality bass equipment anybody needs in this life,

imo, you can never have too much stuff in your estate for lawyers to make money on everybody fighting over after your dead
;)

LOL the one with the most toys wins! :D

I'm attempting to be a bit more frugal with possessions in general, only owning stuff that I use regularly. I 've got the amp and cabs nailed. As far as basses go, It was easy getting down to the Ernie Balls, but deciding which of them must go has been really tough! They all have attributes that make them great. The problem in this case is that I want a bass that sounds like a cross between a Bongo and a Sterling, has the neck feel of the Sterling, in a nice honeyburst like my Stingray.

Do the Bongo five strings have a narrower string spacing than the fours? Perhaps I need to pick up a single H five string Bongo. :)

Is the string spacing noticeably narrower, like a Sterling?

Hmmm.

Maybe if I can sell present Bongo and Sterling, I could replace both with a single H five-string... Then I could fulfill the apparent cross-purpose of downsizing and aquiring more gear!
