Thanks for all your thoughts boys and girls - I'm good with the MM locking trem. My next question would be what do you all think of a rosewood board on an Axis?

I love 'em... But it is 100% personal preference. 8 of my 11 musician guitars are Rosewood board or all rosewood neck.

Well I don't know if the big atractionis how really great the guitar looks, but the same seller has the exact specs on an Axis Super Sport with a stoptail bridge which would solve all your problems about the Floyd. The only difference is the guitar with the Floyd has the nicer top.
