I just nicked my JP on my amplifier, and it's received its first wound!
If I don't post pictures of it, will it cease to exist???

Good point brasco!
Also, if I become absurdly famous, then thirty years after my death another company might completely recreate my guitar and painstakingly recreate every single ding!

HAHA...I like the way you think.

Trust me..when or if I get that first ding on my Dargie...I'm going to need a Xanax drip and a Dr. Phil intervention.

Any decent luthier can repair a ding so that it is essentially invisible. You might want to wait till you get a few more then take it in for a spa treatment :)

^Agreed. I'm pretty sure in X amount of years, my JP7's gonna look like it's been through a war...whereas the JP6 will still be mint, :D

Dings only matter if you're going to sell it, and you're not going to, are you?

Modifications and scratches and dings and all that stuff make the guitar more YOURS.
