Ok, we all know how much we baby our EBMM guitars, especially the neck. I've rarely seen photos of anyone with a dirty neck. I'd love to see some pics of some road worn, heavily abused, out on tour in a little van with no tech to take care of bid'ness but mojo'd out necks!

I'm sending out 4 new packs of EB strings, your choice of gauge, PLUS a full package (don't know exactly the count but it's like 20 individual packages, last you LONG time) of EB fretboard conditioner to help get that sucker back into shape!

I have a feeling there will be very few entries so you chances are good.

So c'mon, lets see 'em. Dirty necks only! HA!
(must be your own guitar)

I would have won this "hands down" if it was a month earlier. My Emerald BFR was horrible(NOS). I was too ambarrassed to even take pics..

The rules never specifically stated that it had to be pics of our personal EBMM guitars! Here's the winner! PM me for my address...;)

this is not mine, so it doesn't count for the contest. it is just an example of what you are up against. this was azazeal's guitar.....i think he was banned awhile back. this thing is DIRTY!

Douglas took really good care of his guitars. That Axis actually has a super figured (flame and birdseye) neck and board. That's actually a bad pic of that amazing neck and board.
Here are slightly better shots of that Axis:

Haha Slav123, nice try. The amusement of this thread is to man up and share pics of "your" guitar in a filthy state, thereby wearing your pride/shame. Ozzy obviously had his guitar in such condition and was embarrassed to take pics. That's what I'd like to see. Otherwise we could google pics all day, no fun. :(

Once we see enough entries, I will set up a poll and let the forumites vote on their fav and I'll make the final call. The winner will then be determined.

So, let's move this along and start digging out our "personally owned" guitars filthy neck pics!

Fred looks like he is the front runner.

it's really nothing like that at all and has been manipulated (the contrast played with) by the photographer

My neck is not dirty !!! but it has some mileage :D

The difference of color between the hidden part of the neck and the played part of the neck shows this ...

Some fret & fretboard wear :

But I insist ! My neck is clean : I wash it every time I change the strings (once a month) with Wonder Wipes !

Francois-

How long until you have re fret on that neck? That is worn!

I am waiting that DrKev opens his workshop in Paris ...

But in fact, the fret wear does not affect the playability of my Morse. The grooves are wide but no so deep ...

Oh man, I would have totally won this with my EVH, but I had to get it re-fretted and the tech took a layer of wood off when he did it.
