Just wanting to know what DI experience you all have had. What DIs are you using, have you noticed any that treat your SRs better than others?
Currently I'll use either the direct out of my Mesa head or my beloved SansAmp. Or if I'm lucky and the venue is good there'll be a Radial DI.
But with the great straight ahead tone of my SR5 I'm almost leaning towards wanting to go from a Radial straight into a powered cab (a sweepable mid box would be good for dealing with rooms though)

I use the Radial JDI DI Box with all of my basses especially with the SR5 because I'm able to taylor the sound more to my liking being that the SR5 is such a bright sounding bass and I had some problems with it sitting well in the mix but this DI box has help quite-a-bit.

I use the direct out on my Ashdown head whenever I use my SR5, but when I use my Fender P Bass, I wish i used one of those SansAmp Bass Drivers. Those things are sweet - great for any passive bass.

If anyone knows where I can pick one up second hand, let me know - they are about $450 bucks new here in Australia and everyone I know who has one will never part with them!
