Hey, time marches on, some colors go bye-bye and some other (obviously) cool colors greet the day. As we've discussed before with sparkles and trans-green and quite a few other things, if those finishes were selling like hotcakes (I'm told hotcakes are perennial best-sellers), then no one in their right mind would put the kabosh on 'em.

I brought Heinz to rehearsal for the first time last night and the guys were making nice noises about it. "That is a VERY cool color!" Yup, sure, and trans-green sold....well, not like hot cakes.

I'm no business genius, but this is all pretty easy to understand.

That orange FireMist color just rocks, too.

Just placed my order for a new Stingray 5 H, in Colbolt Blue Pearl with maple neck and Matching headstock. I ordered it with a White pearloid pickguard and chrome hardware.

I'm figuring it'll either be a Christmas or New Years present to myself.

I've been wanting to order this bass for quite sometime now but I really don't "need it", so i've been procrastinating. But the discontinuation of Colbalt Blue (on the Aug 15/08) made me act on it today to insure my order is placed with the factory by Friday.
