Dissassembly time cont. : *new* PAINT STRIPPING problems!

Hi folks,

a buddy of mine is in the middle of a refin/renovation project on his axis sport MM90. He's got almost everything stripped off the guitar but is unsure how the silent circuit is attached to the body / how to get it out... can you help?

Thanks

He's still debating the natural look or going for a colour. I was floating Mary Kaye as it'd look good on swampash...actually any retro trans colour....

Will ask for pics on completion!

Hi guys! I'm Mr. Kirby's cousin-in-law doing the project. Thanks for the info on the silent circuit! Was being overly cautious as to not break anything. Have run into another challenge. I covered the body in Klean Strip Premium Stripper (aerosol) and let it set for hours. Basically no change to the finish. Any ideas??

Bravo, welcome man. I remember seeing this guitar in the past. Axis Sports are the best.

GW...thanks for the welcome! I've been a lurker for a while, but not much of a poster. I've always noticed though that everyone seems very willing to help!

Update: The finish on this thing is unpenetrable! I stepped up to Aircraft Remover (a horrible name considering I'm a pilot...lol), and nothing! I haven't even gotten through to the stickers! I'm thinking it's time to get the sandpaper out! Any other ideas?
