I am loving the Digitech Hardwire stuff at the moment. Great sound and built like a tank. Got the CM-2 on my board. The switch gives me a TS808 to TS9 baked option.

I am also a lover of Tube Screamers, but after playing one of these fellas, it's the Holy Grail of overdrive for me:
Hey I've just come back from gig and there was a guy there with a Bassman amp and his pedal board had two BK Butler Tube Drivers - the ones with valve bias (5 knobs) and nothing else. Can anyone tell me why he would have two Tube Drivers?
PS: His tone went from ice clean through to rich fuzz type tones.

Any number of reasons actually. Sometimes it's convenient to have similar drive levels but different volumes. Or two different tone settings. Sometimes it's nice to cascade two pedals together to get more distortion than you would from either of them. I sometimes do that - one pedal with a clean volume boost followed by one with a mild OD sound for lead. With the two together I get more distortion for the lead sound.

I recon he used them as one pedal for clean boost and one for overdrive, but both together to give greater gain.
Only issue for me now is that I'm thinking I want to do this - but man not with 2 BK Butlers lol

I like to have and OD and a distortion pedal. I have the BB Preamp and a Suhr Riot. The Riot is a really great sounding distortion box, and the BB is an amazing OD. I often kick them both on just to go over the top on solos. Nice thick and creamy insanity

A wealthy fan of Dave - I priced up the BK Butler x 2 and they are expensive but very very nice!
I think I'll have a go with two tube screamers and see how I go.

I haven't found a great distortion pedal, but like the Fulltone OCD for an overdrive.
Also heard that Way Huge (Dunlop) are re-releasing the Red Llama overdrive. I wanna check that out. I know Tom Petty is a big fan of that pedal.

I've never found a dist/OD pedal that can really hang with a good amp. Some are better than others, but still, get an amp that sounds great and just something to goose it with, and things are good in my book.
