I don't know why I am curious, but can someone not named Vinnie Moore get a Silo Spec w/ a Floyd? I never saw that as an option. Also, do you guys know if he uses the same pickups or are those (extra) special too?
floyds were an option on a Silo up until the early 90's, correct??
there's one on ebay right now

No - (Well Luke maybe if he wanted one)
From the man himself in an interview thread..
"...I use a Floyd Bridge. My main guitar is Purple (the purple ones sound a little sweeter). I use maple fret boards but like rosewood too. Using 3 DiMarzios - a Sonnicaster in the bridge - and dp181's in neck and middle. For years I thought I was using a Tone Zone but I recently send my pickup into Steve at DiMarzio and found out it is a custom wound that he calls a sonnicaster. I dunno if you can order it or not. The 181's are likelyto change soon as I am doing some experimenting..."
If I remember right didn't Vinnie get a 20th Ann Silo in black, the only painted they made?
