At least that's what I told my girlfriend...
uhhh anyways.

So I got home from golfing today, and on the table was a large envelope. Inside was a python pickguard that Ritch(Oddjob)gave me a good deal on. So I ran to put it on my Candy Red Bongo5. The verdict: freak'n sweet. Unfortunately by the time I got home it was raining but I took some quick flash photos. They aren't great, but they do a decent job of showing off the guard. It has a nice almost gold tint to it, that I think blends well with the red. I'll take some new pics when it clears up. Thanks again Ritch!

A combination of splendor, Andrew.

Very nice as well Alvaro.

Mark, is that a python or are you just happy to see me?

Boost, everything will be OK... maybe.

Looks sweet! Glad you enjoy it! Now to find a tort to take its place:D

I think this one is staying on my bass for a long time. I used to think tort was the answer but I think the python is the perfect match I was looking for. On a side note, I've never named any of my basses, just never thought they needed them. I think with this new pickguard my Candy Red Bongo5 finally has a name:Rufus. It's so freak'n flamboyant with the new guard and Rufus Wainright is one of my favorite singer songwriters as of late.

 :D
