What are your thoughts, I know some people case their balls and others don't. Which is better? What type of climate should they be cased in or not cased in?
As of now I case mine all the time when it's not in my hands, I feel that it keeps it fresh. Any Thoughts?

I use to case mine..now they're hung in my man cave. I have the cases in storage in my garage...overall more floor space for other toys.

I keep one guitar next to my seat in my living room. Right now, it's my Sublhouette. I have another guitar out because I'm going to do a repair (non-EBMM) and my son has his acoustic out. The rest are in cases.

No pets, but I do have a 6 year old and a 7 year old. They're good kids and won't touch my guitars, but I can't say the same about their friends. Always back to the cases when I'm done with them.

If they are in rotation they stay out, otherwise they are cased in the closet of my man cave, sometimes two are in rotation sometimes one, if I am gone on vacation etc. all are cased and locked away

Ahh..almost forgot. I put mine back in their case and tucked away as well if I'm not home for any length of time. Having only 2 (soon to be 3) Balls it's just easier to have them out and off the floor because I play them so much...I need them to be within reach at all times without constantly going back and forth to the case.

95% of the guitars with broken necks or "stress cracks" have happened to instruments OUTSIDE of the case. I keep mine all the time in their cases including a small humidor sponge for the winter (Chicago).
Keep them in their cases when you don't play them, it's a Murphy's law prevention policy

Some of my guitars get hauled around to jobs every weekend, so everybody sleeps in their cases (in my house, not on the truck!) until it's time to restring and blast off again. Kaloyan's right about temperature. Let it warm up gradually before opening the case inside if it has gotten cold. I imagine it gets a little cool in NH sometimes!
