Yep, every time I see a lefty pic :p

But seriously :

No real rotation, but they all get played.

In terms of preference :

#1 : My Silo...... damn I love that guitar.
#2 : Silver JP...... more Mojo than the BFR, and more comfortable.
#3 : BFR JP ...... awesome, but no cigar.

The others all get about the same, with the PBB ASS probably the least.
That one will probably be up for sale soon.

EDIT : Forgot about the NOS EVH - it lives in it's case.

I mainly play my Luke 1, but since l got my BFR Luke, it's been getting as much love as my Luke 1. Unfortunately my other Luke doesn't get much love, and my Petrucci gets no love.

Scott.

I not only rotate guitars, I rotate pickups too! heheheh...

Right on, right on ;)

It's just SO DAMN COOL that I can exchange FIVE differently equipped pickguards between my Silo SPecials by just (un-)plugging that ingenious quick-connector :D

BTW:
Anyone ever tried to run an original EBMM S/S/S setup on a Silo Special and disconnecting the silent circuit ? I found that to be a VERY cool sounding option, too - you just have to avoid high gain - single coild business... :D

Yeah yeah - it's all about variety and rotation in guitars and PUs (and amps o/c).
Variety is life and life is variety - same goes for change...

Hmmmmmm.....now you got me thinking. Maybe a swap of the MM90 in the bridge of the axis SS to the dimarzo bridge pickup from the Sub1...... Going for the EVH sound..... Now you got me thinking. Hmmmm....silent circuit....hmmmm.

Actually, I don't use the Silent Circuit when I'm at home. The dynamics you get from the real single coils at medium gain and your fingers are just heavenly... In a band, I guess everything's too noisy to worry about dynamics, so I turn it on. and I do use high gain for some songs in my band (hence the Metal Zone... heheheh...) There's a very subtle difference, and it COULD be psychological, but I kinda do hear a difference...:p

All of mine are hanging on the wall. I grab whatever one "feels" appropriate for what I'm playing.

Currently the Honey Burst is tuned 1/2 step flat.

All the others are standard tuned but I will pick and choose based on whether a song needs some single coil goodness or a trem.

All of my guitars get played, or else they get sold. They all have a place, and I try to use different ones if I have 2 or 3 gigs over a weekend. The only guitar I have that does not get used on a regular basis is my 99LTD Takamine - I might even sell it, but its pretty tatty but its not worth a great deal! Actually, I should keep it!

My Lukes get to take turns...I'll play one tonight, then the other tomorrow etc. On the rare occasions I do gigs (and can only be bothered with one guitar), the Dargie comes along if I think I'm going to need the peizo, otherwise the BFR.

Both stay in their cases when not in use...but hey, it's for their protection...I've got three kids, two of them under 10! ;) I leave out my old Ovation acoustic and Ibanez Roadstar for ad hoc noodling. But the Lukes are within easy reach for serious playing.

In my case rotating looks like this:

After using JP6 for some time, like 2-4 weeks come thought:
"let's check the strat" and I am like "wow, cool!".
So I play strat for a 2-4 weeks. But then come thought: "hm, let's try JP6"... and so on :D

I do rotate them, that means I take them interchangeably to gigs and rehearsals. At home, I only have a 3-in-a-row stand, so the BFR JP6 stays in its case (for good, it's for sale now). However, I tend to play the standard Pet most of the time, cause the neck and body fit me best.

After my BFR JP6 is sold and my second JP6 comes home, they will probably get the most playing time.

Yes I do rotate them but also have some always outside, the Morse, the silo special and the silo, but the rest I try to rotate them. Same with amps.
