Do you have a modification wish for your EBMM?

I like to play classic rock,jazz,funk,Latin rock and that kind of stuff... And man, ur gonna have to school me on the "250k/500k" stuff... I have no idea what that is haha

250k and 500k are pot values. Generally speaking, you use 250k with single coils and 500k with humbuckers. 250k with single coils keeps the treble levels in check while 500k has more. I think I'm over-simplifying things here.
For that kind of music, I like a good PAF type as it covers a lot of ground.

Reflex is for me the most perfect guitar I have ever owned or played but in answer to the original question.

All three points are easily fixed and have modified all three.

1/ Saddles are uncomfortable for palm muting as the adjuster screws stick up like spikes. Change saddles.

2/ Locking strap buttons should come with the guitar especially with a 2K price tag in UK/Europe. Fit them yourself.

3/ I like a reference point on control knobs which does not have to be numbers just a line or indent on the control knob will do fine. Especially handy in the studio. Change knobs.

Not moans just personal preferences.

This happens a lot when I have blocked floating trems on e.g Fender strats and have the trem flush on the body. The grub screws are indeed like spikes as they protrude quite a way.
One option with this problem is to shim the neck - I just took out the grub screws and filed them from the bottom - job done - could even just get smaller screws from any good hardware shop.

That's one reason I never liked the vintage bent saddles. Just the general shape of them is a bit uncomfortable and if the adjustment screws are sticking out a bit that's the end of your hand. I always replaced those saddles on the LUKE, Silos with the EBMM solid block saddles like the ones on the Axis SS guitars. I always loved those and gave me a thicker ballsier tone hehe.

jzeijen they are Graph Tech Part Number is PS-8000-00 but I must admit I am experiencing slight tuning problems since fitting them which I never had before. Maybe be some nut sauce will solve the problem. If it doesn't Spuds solution might be a good move.

Roubster's suggestion is one I would have jumped at if I had known about it before hand.

Hmm that's a thought but surely the tension in the string should be more than enough to hold the saddle in position. I have just tried pushing the saddle back and cannot get it to move at all. Also it is not just the 1st string but I'll certainly try and beef up the springs on the next string change. Many thanks.

I would love to get a basic unloaded project JP6 to work on and restore it and put in a floyd rose. In my opinion a Floyd would make that guitar feel more solid.

The Axis would need an entire redesign to make it work. The neck pickup on the axis right now is right underneath the 24th fret harmonic....right where the 24th fret would be. It's a great idea, but the tone of the guitar would change completely and it would look kinda funny with the 2 humbuckers closer together.

I'm in Colorado but sent it to Phil Jacoby in Baltimore. The only good fret guy I know in the area is Chris Herbert. Chis is backlogged to hell, doesn't have a PLEK machine, and (to the best of my knowledge) doesn't do SS refrets. At that point, shipping to Phil didn't seem like a bad deal.
