Hey,
Just wondering if it's just me being... special, or does anyone else name their basses or guitars?

I've only got one decently named that suits it. He's called Jasper. :p
I need suggestions for a name for the blue pearl sting ray i'm getting next week too. I cant think of anything funky that suits it, I havent even got a gender yet.

Ciao

Not yet...? This last Sunday three different people all said "Have named her yet?"

Hadn't thought about it 'til then. Huh. Help?

Yes, I have names for all of my basses. I have named some and others have named some for me. That is what is on the cases and how I keep track of them when I am grabbing them for a show.

Haha, i like the idea of labeling the cases with the names.
It seems a little more fun being able to say I've had Betsy for 3 years rather than saying Musicman Stingray 3EQ.

Pardon the non-EBMM content...

Brown Moses II - made with the entrails of Brown Moses, a walnut Warmoth/Moses-necked Jazz that got smacked hard in shipping.

IMO don't ship with Epic Express or Canada Freightways as they don't honour their 'liability coverage', but try all they can to weasel out of compensation.

They strung my claim along for nearly 2 years and offered me $44 for my bass at the end. If I wasn't busy with a life transition they would have a small claims court action against them or even a class action lawsuit (they took my liability payment ($5K worth on the pallet I shipped - $6 fee) and then denied that it applied - how many others paid $ for coverage they didn't intend to honour??).

By all accounts, EBMM customer service shines in contrast with the way those guys treated me.

Anyway - The baby in the crab grass pictured here arose from the ashes of that BS.

My EBMMs aren't named -yet. Mostly because I'm waiting for a special circumstance for each of them.

Yes. One is called ESP B206. The other is called a Michael Kelly Firefly, and then there's the P-Killer.

Not really. I call my 30th Anniversary Stingray "The 30th" and my SUB 5 "The SUB".

I do have a Webkinz Bull Frog in my back car window named "Bongo". :D

I am sure most of you with kids know what a Webkinz is.... one is not enough.
