Im probably one of the biggest Petrucci fan, hell I have one of his guitars, but for me David owns that solo, that song. Gilmour is my fave player.

Actually, that's not outside the realms of possibility. In the 80's he was on record as saying that he was a fan of EVH.

As far as the solo for Numb though, the JP version is great, but I prefer David's version of it.
