And yes,

my fellow forumites, the fantastic, splendid, superb Y2D has finally reached its destination :p . Yeah, yeah, I know, pics, but I don't have time at the moment to take 'em  .

Got the call on last Thursday, didn't come through until Friday (thank you Mr mobile company:mad: ) and didn't have time to pick it up before Saturday   . But it's here, standing behind my back, sitting in between two blueburst Morses and shining its beauty :) :D :) . Played it during rehearsal on Saturday and it is mighty sweet. Didn't have time to remove the plastic covers either, something for one of these days  .

And special thing: the order note stated that this was my guitar, so my name was on the order note from the distributor. Something my dealer had never ever seen before with an EBMM. Thank you EB folks, it is great :D .

And now I'm off to bed. More news and pics in the course of this week I hope. Things are hectic with preparations for the construction of our own house.

Cheers guys,

Tom.

just a guess,
11-05

I am so happy you got your guitar. Warning! They are awsome and you will love playing it to the point that other parts will get less attention. That's not a bad thing.:)

do u have the box that the case was packed in ????

Yep, I do, I always ask the people from the store to not open the box it was shipped in and they do so. So I pop into the store and open up the box, take out the case, open it up and lo and behold, I am the first one to lay eyes on the masterpiece after it was packed at the factory. :p :D :)

And actually, it feels very good that way...

Jason, I'll try to take some picks in the days to come, but my wife has a party with her colleagues tomorrow evening, so I will be kept busy by my son Kobe the entire evening. I'll put them up as soon as I have them, promise... :)

Cheers guys,

Tom.

Tom,

I'm really happy for you! I know how much you were diggin' those Y2D's at the Open House!

Mine ought to arrive at my local dealer on Monday, barring unforseen delays. I'm getting really psyched! I also ask my local shop not to open the box until I get there, and they're happy to oblige. It's nice to crack that case for the first time outside of SLO... :)

(BTW... much, MUCH love to Aziah. :))

Box, stickers, the whole 9 yards... Speaking of which I need to get back to the store to see if the twin to mine has arrived yet.

Oh yeah and hey Tom, congrats!!! Enjoy it.

Thanks guys,

although we live so far away from each other, this forum feels like coming home time and time again. I really love hanging around here, reading all the posts and BP's comments. It makes everything about EBMM so great.

Thank you Aziah for the DOB, appreciate it.

Keep it up,

cheers, Tom.
