DOB Information, please

Can someone help me out with the DOB's of my instruments.

1.) Axis Sport in Sliver Sparkle
G18192

2.) Silhouette Special in Fushia Sparkle
G18246

Can someone explain how you determine the date? I'd like to know myself without taking the neck off. Thanks!

The Seriel numbers are not in the system. Usually they do not start with 1. The neck date on the guitar is the only way to check the date accuratley.

Sorry, I had a brain cramp there and left the "G" off of the serial number.

Is the Silver Sparkle a discontinued color??

I appreciate the help.

Both guitars were made January 02.
The Silhouette Special guitar was a Namm Show piece that showed the Fushia Sparkle color. The Fushia did not make it to our color chart and the guitar was auctioned off.

Silver Sparkle was discontinued sometime in 02.

I knew about the Fushia Sparkle and the auction, I just wasn't sure of the manufacturing date.
