oh cmon! drums are fun! Yeah, I learned trumpet first throughout middle and high school. I picked up piano along the way somehow and just farted around on my best friends drumset for a few years. I have never owned my own set unfortunately.

I'm trying to acquire a piano or keyboard again because I really do miss playing it! The Majesty will debut and I'll forget all about wanting to allocate money towards a piano though ;)

I think I'd be ballsy enough to ask! Worst he can say is no and he'd NEVER see it coming. He may be so taken a'back that he'd just be like "uh... here?" hahaha

My dad got me a baritone ukulele for my 3rd birthday. Called it a bass. Haha. Dabbled with piano before playing violin for about five years. Violin transferred to mandolin and then I started playing bass and trombone at age 12. I picked up guitar at about 18-19. Continued to play bass and trombone through college. Ditched the brass after that. Started singing at 21 and have reserved myself to guitar, bass, and vocals ever since.

I play the piano (recently keyboards only), bass, can find my way around a cello and a recorder.

And, oh... I've recently mastered a few chords on the triangle :)

I started on a recorder and can play any tune you want on that (by ear).
I then played trombone in the school and Cardiff Youth orchestras.

I then took up guitar and also play some bass and drums (my Dad was a swing/dance band drummer)

Mandolin. Her name is Maisy. She is currently languishing in the basement of the bar that I work par-time in. If I do my Saturday gig, I don't feel like carrying everything home with me on he metro, so she stays in the basement. I do feel a little guilty about it, but she wouldn't get any play at home either. Ironically, I got a lot of gigs because I also play mandolin. But much as I do love mandolin, I'm not a mando player, I'm a guitar player.

I'll play anything I can get my hands on. Keys and guitar are currently battling for favorite instrument.

ohdamnitsdevin, nice playing!

most of the time i play 6-string guitars, but yes, i play other instruments as well, e.g. 7-string guitar and baritone guitar, does this count as well? ;)

o.k. i started making music at the age of 10 and for 6 or 7 years i learned playing organ and keyboards - jon lord and tony banks were my heros back in those days. but with 17 years, i discovered the guitar...and the rest is history (i just wanted to use these words :D )

sometimes after rehearsal, i take place behind the drum-kit and play some easy grooves - that´s funny, maybe i´ll get myself some of this new and small e-drum-kits, just for fun.
and i have a 5-string bass-guitar beside my guitars, which i use on my demos for the band.

Piano came too easily for me so I lost interest in it. I do miss playing it a lot. I'm planning on purchasing a decent keyboard soon.

yeah, i can attest to this. I can only remember my music teachers. I seriously cant remember the names or faces of any other teacher. I only cared for music though so thats probably why haha.
