You're a lucky man. Even if you don't get to see the factory the drive along that coastline is stunning!

The only way to get a factory tour is the next time we have a big Forum Bash in SLO. Otherwise, it's just a recipe for someone getting their eyeball poked out by a robot.

I grew up 40 minutes away from the factory, only saw it as I drove by picking up bike frames from the nearby powdercoater on the same road.

I remember a guitar store right on the corner of Higuera and Suburban, it's probably long gone by now, but that was the 'freshest' I'd see StingRays back in the day.

I was lucky enough to attend an EBMM open house years ago, when they were still under one roof. They were building the factory in the back, which became their current location. It was a local thing back then. I think from looking at the history page it was 97. It was very cool.

I'd love to see another bash. I got a little peek into the factory a couple months ago when I picked up a white pup cover for my SR4. Just through the windows from the front lobby.

I've only been a knucklehead since early 2009, so I missed the 2005 one.

As for the store at Higuera and Suburban, it's been gone in the 11 years I've lived in the county.

EDIT: It was probably Premier Music.
