Question Does sbmm do the binding the same way as ebmm?

I love my ax40 and are curious as to whether they pour the binding like ebmm? And ive noticed that the sbmm binding is a tad thinner than ebmms, and is a slight cream color as opposed to the brighter white binding of the axis. But the ax40 is the best guitar for the money . EVER.
