Or they have a small difference?
I’m just guessing but I’d say that they are both the same with them being humbuckers, the way the switching works when splitting the coils, positions 2&4 would need to be identical half’s for it to work. The neck pickup is set lower than the bridge to take some volume out of it due to the placement as the power is the same in each
I might be wrong but that’s how I understand it to be

Pretty sure they're the same. I mean, if they were going to use a different pickup the pole pieces would line up with the strings, right? ;)

Thanks, the reason, I have a real Music man HH and I’ll never use neck pickup. I have a ray35 H as backup. I’m gonna put that neck pickup in the sterling to have a similar sound. (I am aware that the preamps are not the same)
