Nope, just the bass - for the price difference between that an a US bass (when you consider how similar it is in many other aspects) it is fair enough...
My local GC doesn't include the case in the price of any of their MM basses -- Bongo, Stingray or Sterling. But the SUBs didn't come with cases to start with. The Roadrunner gig bags GC are selling for $39 are pretty nice, though.
No case. Just buy a Yorkville or some other cheap case for $50 or so.
I prefer these third party cases anyways. Why advertise that the contents are really expensive with a Music Man logoed case? Might as well write "steal me" on the case!
I've keeped my SUB in a Roadrunner Gig Bag for almost 3 years and had no problems whatsoever. Whats cool is the pockets have compartments to keep a bunch of accessories (string winder, picks, pens, etc.). Fits nicely in my car when I gig and has 2 handles that make it easy to handle.
all EBMM bassas sold at GC save the sub come wiyh a case, the price tag will have a (WC) that stands for with case. now on a bass that GC is selling on clearence the price tag will have an (E) on it, wich means the case is exploded from the bass, that is how they get the price down on a shop worn or somthing that has been hanging around forever.
