I don't know if this has ever been discussed. Pretty sure there's no thread about it after a quick search.

Does the 20th Anniversary Silhouette have the same neck as the original Silo?

I tried a Silo Spec that I didn't like a couple of weeks ago. It's really not what I remembered from another Silo Spec at the store where I bought the 20th Anny Silo. The Silo Spec I tried recently felt like it had a big fat neck, but the one I tried before was more like my 20th. My 20th actually reminds me of a Luke below the 5th fret or so. I kind of think of the ASS neck as being a bit fatter than my 20th. Hmm...

Anyway, I ask, because I was groovin' on the 20th Anny Silo last night, and I was wondering what I'd do for a back-up.

Yeah. The Silo Spec that I tried out, the one with the fat neck, was a used one. Could easily have been 1999, but there's no way to know for sure without asking EBMM for a DOB.

I agree with robelinda2 on the feel of the neck of the 20th. I have a Silo Special and it feels a little different, but that could be because the 20th is new. My Silo Sp feels a little flatter in the back where my 2oth feels to have a rounder more C shape.
I don't know how necks are cut but I imagine they still have to finish them by hand so I would imagine no two necks are going to feel exactly the same.
