Under the stars of a Texas sky, I watch as the full moon rises.
With a soft tune of a guitar playing a most liked song of my childhood I wonder
what Yahweh thinks of the strings that made that sound. Will there be guitars in heaven?

not being one to believe in an omnipotent overseer.... I would like to think that when I die my matter is broken up and eventually my nutrients work their way into a tree that gets cut down and turned into a quality instrument... the greenies can't have me... but knowing my luck i will end up a power pole in a dog pound

Creator plays bass......

Being a fan of Eastern religion. And in particular Sikhism, having spent many years in India. I thought I might add my post to this thread.

The founder of Sikhism was Guru Nanak Dev Ji. He had two traveling companions named Mardana and Bala. Mardana is often pictured playing a 4 or 6 stringed instrument.

Speaking as one who kind of has the ALMIGHTY as my boss I'm sure he just loves to get down and groove with a hefty dose of low end thump! So I'm definitely taking my Ray with me when my time comes.

Hmmm...I would think the meatballs and sauce would gum up the pickups too much.

Besides--how many noodles would have to be used to hold down a B string, anyway?

do they got Ampeg or GK or what?

The mysteries of life (and of course) death - we'll know when we get there and if we don't, we won't be able to do a damned thing about it.

Well, after the post I remembered there was a place that said King David played some kind of string instrument. Thats close enough for me.
