Hi Don, For string dampining, Are you just using a regular hair band?
Or is something you made yourself? Thank you

Yes I just use regular hair ties. Most pharmacies have them but sometimes you have to look around a few stores to find the best ones. Although I can effectively play without one, they really are a necessity because my right hand no longer functions in the traditional way (string dampening) to dampen strings. The string that is very hard if not impossible for me to dampen is the A string. It's even harder with a 7 string.

As you know, proper technique and muting are essential. The damper just helps with the inherent string buzz (ie A String) from the fretboard moving about as I play:)

Yeah... the Orange is for me and my setup the perfect amp... i have both channels dialed in and i'm loving it...
our drummer actually commented a few weeks ago that this is the best my tone has ever been... and i've gone through some serious extremes with my setup trying to achieve that "tone" but i think i've got it...

and as my buddy Skip says... people like me keep his store in business... LOL!!
That's cool! I have always heard the best best things about Orange Amps. I'm glad you've found your tone with it:)
