Howdy all!
I had one of the original run-spec Silos a number of years back. It was an awesome purple color and was an ergonomic dream except for the neck, which was too tiny. I was in the local GC this past weekend and there was a used SS up on the wall. I took it down and the neck felt perfect! Either they're making the necks differently nowadays (this one was fairly recent I believe since it has the non-recessed neck plate) or my tastes have changed. Either way, who cares, it's time to get myself an SS!
Now to get to my question, the one at GC seems to be in great shape, but the bridge pickup is double-cream whereas the neck and middle pickups are white. I'm going to assume this means the bridge pickup is not stock? I'm going to go back tonight to take another look at it; I just want to know what I'm (maybe) getting.
Thanks for the help.
