OK... :D

The time has come, for Croatia to see an actual band. OK, I may be exadurating, but let's see... Deep Purple was in Croatia 3 times in the past 39 years (last time 4 years ago). We had Pearl Jam a while ago, Iron Maiden a few years back, Paul Gilbert a few weeks ago, but still ... not nearly as much as some countries get.

Usually Croatian people travel abroad to see concerts. :(

Tomorrow's the first time that Dream Theater will be in Croatia!!! I've been a fan for a few years, I'm totally looking forward to it!

:):):)

And ofcourse, seeing the F-1's and Bongo's that everybody talks about in action will be a treat, too. ;)

I'll come back with my impressions in a few days. :D :p

Have a good one!

Frightening thing is they are just as tight live as on record!

HOW I ENVY YOU ! ! !

I just found they are playing Bonn & Berlin but apparently don't do any gigs in southern Germany this year *boohoooo*
Austria (which is near) has already been done which I noticed too late...

Have a good one and enjoy some for me ! ;)

Junior, congratulations! That's great that they are going to your country. They are so much fun to see live. It's incredible seeing them pull off those difficult parts live. Enjoy it.:D:D:D

Oh, if you can, please try to remember what guitars and basses/colors JP and JM used. It seems like JP isn't playing any of the old JP models, only the F-1. I'm just curious to know which color guitars he's using for which songs. If you can't remember, it's not big deal, but it would be cool to know.:D

They are playing in Paris (5 october). If you want to miss the Oktober Fest, you are welcome in France.

The new album is great, perhaps the best one IMHO.

Dream Theater is the best!! Hopefully I'll see them one day...

I totally agree. I missed a chance to see the Octavarium tour FREE due to automobile problems and I'm still kicking myself!

Enjoy the show... Dream Theater never fails to rock a show!!! Been to 3 shows and I don't intend to miss my fourth one on July 28th. This time i finally got VIP tickets.

SYSTEMATIC CHAOS is a jaw dropping album in my humble opinion. My personal favorite so far is Dark Eternal Light!!! You can feel the aggressivenes on that song. Love the solos too!!!

Seen 'em twice and I met THE Man, JP, in April.

I urge you to go completely ballistic \m/ style. When I saw them the first time on Gigantour, all the bands before them were good (well, most:rolleyes:...) and I just kinda tapped my feet and sat and watched. Dream Theater will fill you with such an insane energy it's unreal! Head bang like the best of 'em and yell 'til you can't speak anymore!:D

The show was phenomenal! The set was pretty short, considering it's DT, and hour and 45 minutes. John played 3 BFR's and a Silhouette bass (I think, the baritone?). One with the grey burst (for most of the show), one with the brown burst and one with a red burst (I think that one is in drop-C). His sound was great and the band played really well! Myung played a black Bongo with some kind of tortoise shell (?) pickguard, and his old Yamaha for a couple of songs.

I can't really talk right now... :eek::D
