Those are cell pics?! Great quality!

DT live is like a temporary euphoric high. I can't explain how their music makes me feel when I'm actually there. Unexplainable.

Sounds good! I have the Dubaldo's Meet and greet next Wednesday and then the show Friday where I will meet and greet them again. Looking forward to it.

What did the set list look like besides Blind Faith? Old, new?

It was in 07, and they played a lot of the stuff off of Systematic Chaos. They did an encore; it was a medley of a bunch of epic songs like rial of tears and octavarium and 3 others. They really did a great job of balancing the old and new.

I saw that tour as well. I was just wondering about the set list for this tour.

great shots francric! they didn't bust your chops about taking pics at the venue?

No, I was very surprised but my wife tried to be very discreet about it. There were a couple of guys next to us who were very blatant. The security guy said something to them and they had a bit of a conversation back and forth. They were wearing the lanyards so they paid for the meet and greet. I know one of them said at the very beginning to us, "I paid alot of money for this seat and I'm going to stand. I don't care what the people behind me say". So I guess they felt entitled but mainly just didn't give a rats a$$ what anyone said and the security guy maybe felt it wasn't worth the hassle.

interesting, could be that security couldn't be bothered. Back in 07 I saw DT in Jersey and security took away a guys phone, deleted the pics and gave it back to him. During the bows, I asked security if I could get one pic and said "it's over, sure but hurry up."

I think it's definitely a directive from the band.

The thing is though, on the Progressive Nation website they have places where they want you to upload your pic and vids from the shows....

I saw all kinds of people snapping pictures during the show. I was so ticked off!! We called ahead and the venue said, "no cameras". Ha! Security didn't even care. I could have brought mine and had some nice pictures and videos to bring back with me to remember the show better. Next time i'll just bring it no matter what the venue says about cameras. Memories tend to fade over time...

I found the set list on the DT web site and I also found a pic that totally surprised me.............................

A Nightmare To Remember
Constant Motion
Beyond This Life
Hollow Years
(JR Keyboard Spot)
Erotomania *
Voices
The Count Of Tuscany
------------------------
METROPOLIS
*There was a short, impromptu drum solo during Erotomania while JP's rig temporarily went down

I remember JP walking off to the side of the stage and his tech scrambling to get him a guitar but it was so quick it never dawned on me that he had an issue and of course Mike's drum solo took away any attention.

Here is the pic, to the right of JP you can see my wife holding the camera to take a picture and me next to her in the white shirt...................

just sitting in a bus to go to see Dream Theater live (progressive nation tour). Nice to see how they sound today, I miissed their last show in Finland. Hopefully I'm as lucky as when Toto was in Finland, that time I had few beers with Luke and Bobby Kimball after the show in local bar...
